Hi, I wanted to know if other mother's have experienced their child having no teeth at this age. My first child had them come in around 6 months.

I'm just curious and would like to hear from anyone that would like to share their experience. Thank you.

What can I do next?

Hi A.-

My first child didn't cut a tooth until she was 18 months and then they came in quickly.
My other children didn't cut teeth until around 9 months.
Each child is different, in when they cut teeth, walk, talk.... so don't be concerned if #2 does things differently then #1.

Best,
L.

Dear A.,
Greetings!!!

Don't laugh!!! But, my dazzling son, Dylan Orion, started teething when he was about 13 weeks old. We were so convinced that his teeth were coming in! We even told him that they were as he drooled away! Believe it or not, he just celebrated his 9 month old birthday on Sunday (29 June), and on Monday (30 June) his first tooth broke through his gums! AMAZING! What I've truly learned from this experience is that every baby is different, and Isaac's teeth will come through when they are ready to come through. Just like Dylan's. : ))) Enjoy your precious guy and his gummy smile!

LOL,
L. (MAMA to 39 week old Dylan Orion).

I would not panic about this, my first two children got both bottom teeth right around four months and had full sets of choppers on their first birthdays. Baby #3 decided he would try to be different and had only the two bottom teeth on his first birthday and with only 3 months until he is three he has finally decided to START on his two year molars!! All three kids have excellent dental check ups! The teeth will come when they are ready and it is not all that uncommon for some to take longer, my neice made it to her first B-day with NO teeth, but has since caught up in the last 9 months since then. :) Be blessed and happy!

Hello A.,

My girls were 11 months nad 1 year before they got any teeth! Hence, I went through a lot of baby food for fear they would choke on adult food without teeth to mash it up. So no wories! They say the longer it takes to get your teeth the stronger they are.

I was concerned with my daughter as well. She was 8 months and had no teeth. Which made it really hard during meal times, since she refused baby food around 6 months and wanted to feed herself. However at 8 1/2 months one day she had here two bottom teeth in and with in 2 weeks she had a total of 8 teeth! Rough couple of weeks. She is now one and has those same 4 on top and 4 on bottom, while in the last couple of weeks has been pushing 4 molars through. Don't worry Andrew's teeth will come in at some point! Good Luck and enjoy that toothless grin while you can! ~ C.

I was toothless until almost 2 years old as a result of my mom having 3 kids in a row. My teeth are bad but it was a nutritional issue mostly. Teeth don't always come fast.

My son was 11 1/2 mo. when his first tooth came in. He is 19 mo. now and has his 8 front teeth and 2 molars. Don't worry, those teeth will come eventually.

I think your fine. My son didn't start teething until about 9 1/2 months. He kind of did everything at once he crawled at 8 months teethed at 9 and walked by 10 months. You just have to wait and let her little mouth be ready. Hang in there. S.
