ok heres the thing, yesterday morning i woke up with just a cough and during the night i lost my voice and i am hacking up some disgusting stuff, that to me looks blood tinged, it's brownish (gross i know, i'm sorry). well i went to the doctor today for a follow up ob appointment and told her what was going on and she just brushed it off and told me that there is a virus going around and it is PROBABLY that....are you freaking kinding me? i have no fever, nothing but this horrible cough that hurts my chest really bad, doctor knows this too,...

6 Year Old Who Snores

My 6 year old daughter has snored for as long as I can remember. I took her to her Ear, Nose and Throat doctor and he recommended surgery to have her tonsils and adenoids removed. I know this is a common procedure but it still seems a little drastic to me. Are there any alternatives to surgery to help her snoring and get a better night's sleep?
