Getting to School: South Beach

Advice on Neighborhoods near South Beach?

Hi there - We currently live in Manhattan and will be moving to Miami in December. My husband has taken a job in South Beach and I will be quitting my job to be a stay at home mom. We have an 8 month old son. We will be looking to rent at first and then potentially buy. My husband doesn't want a very long commute, so we'll need to find a place to stay in proximity to South Beach. Can you please suggest some areas where we should start looking?
