Transitioning from Bottle to Sippy Cup with MILK!!!

Hi! My daughter just turned one year old at the end of January. She was breastfed until she was 4 months old and then formula fed after that strictly from a bottle. At about 7 months of age she became very interested in my water glass and I gave her a sippy cup with water in it. She loves it! Now that she is one, her daycare and DHS regulations require children over one year of age be off of the bottle completely and drink milk from a sippy cup. My problem is that she loves water from her cup, loves milk from her bottle, but will not drink...

How the *&%# Do I Use This Sippy Cup?

New mom, trying to get my 12 month old to drink from a sippy cup. First, I'm not sure I'm putting it together right. I think I figured it out last night after I forgot about the little plastic piece and she dumped milk all over her. So we may be okay there. Most importantly, she doesn't know how to suck out of it. How do I teach her? P.S. We have tried Nuk and Avent. Thank you!
