Okay, so I submitted the question about Treehouse Pediatrics and am continuing to get some great responses...what does everyone think about Wyoming Springs Pediatrics? I would like to know the good the bad and the ugly...choosing a doctor is soooo hard!

What can I do next?

I have a 4 wk old and I've been using Pediatric Center of RR with Dr. Katalenas. It has been awesome! I've called several times with lil questions and they have been quick to answer without making me feel silly. Dr. K is AWESOME, she tells me what to expect and it is dead on with what's been going on with my baby. Her nurses and other Dr. associate have been great as well. They have separate entries for the well vs. sick kids also. I would strongly recommend them. They are also open on Sat and Sundays! WOW!

I hsave been going to Wyoming Springs Pedi for almost 4 years. I like that they have a male & female doctor-one for my boy and one for my girls. They both have excellent bedside manners and are thorough, they listen to your concerns and don't rush you. They are great about samples too, they usually offer them but they also don't mind if you ask either. And the PA is really good too. The only thing They do have one of those nurses that you could call ask questions. They are good about getting back to you if they need to ask the doctor the same day-which is important to me. And when you call after hours the doctors do call you back and are good about calling something in for you. Needless to say, I have been happy with them and will continue to see them.
Good luck!

We've been going to Wyoming Springs Pediatrics for 3 years and we LOVE Dr. Marshall. She is soooooooooo good with my kids. If i have any questions or concerns she will take the time to sit and talk with me and explain things. They are also really good about trying to make sure you can get samples if you can't afford the medicine or finding a medicine that you can afford. I've never been disappointed with the treatment we've recieved. My kids are 6, 3, and 2, and even when they are sick, they get excited about going to see Dr. Marshall, she really is GREAT with them!!

I had a horrible experience there. I have 3 boys. They lost one of my child's records and then told me I must have never seen the dr. there for him. I asked why I would go to another dr. for one kid and not the other two. They never took responsiblity. And in the process I had to re pay a co-pay and seeing how they didn't have his record they didn't have that he was allergic to egg and wanted to give him a flu shot. They were fighting me on it when I told them he couldn't. I ended up just walking out and now LOVE the dr's office ARC round rock or cedar park. They have after hr's and wonderful dr's.

They may be good for younger children but my daughter and I weren't impressed with her care at all (she was 13 at the time). The doctor spoke to her as though she were much younger than her age (perhaps because my daughter is short?) and when we got the EOB from their office they had attempted to charge us for an eye exam that was never done. There was also no followup and she ordered the wrong blood work. I'm still looking for a good pediatrician. I've settled for ARC Round Rock for now because they've been the least trouble and some of the doctors aren't bad.
