unfortunately, I share an ipod with my husband, so I am at the mercy of his song choices. I make fun of him all the time for his crazy taste in music, but he did do a workout mix for us that wasn't too bad. It starts with slower music for warmup and gets progressivly harder. So, in the beginning we have OAR, Justin Timberlake (sexy back), Black Eyed Peas and even a little Bon Jovi, and then move on BuckCherry, Distrubed, Velvet revolver, etc. Not all those are my favs, but it does get you moving! If you google "workout music" you can find lots of lists with fun ideas.

Good luck on your family planning! I am 29 with a 17 month old and am loving every minute ;)

No particular song but I love listening to Techno when I work out. Just great beats with no lyrics...helps me stay focused. Fun question!!

I have a lot of cheesy 80's pop music on mine. It has a great beat and maybe reminding me of my childhood makes me feel younger and more energetic :)

I know this is silly, but I love listening to the Eagles (especially "Take it to the Limit"). It's a good thing most other people in my club have on their ipods too or they'd hear me signing!

Really, any classic rock is good for my motivation...

I like "Here it Goes Again" by OK GO (you may have seen the video circling around the internet--the one with the guys and the treadmills; check YouTube if you haven't seen it). It's got a great beat, especially for the treadmill.

I also like "This Town Ain't Big Enough" by Siouxsie and the Banshees.

"Black Math" by The White Stripes is another good one.

Beyonce's Get Embodied is a great one. There are some others on there that are good to work out on too. (Her last album)
