I want to know if any of you moms are doing any stay at home online jobs. Doing anything at all that doesnt require schooling first. I just want to find something that will help out with bills a little. Any ideas?
I am a certified teacher (longs story as to why I am not teaching in a school at the moment) and I also have worked in many other fields. I am willing to try almost anything. I do have a full time job, but I would like to have just a little more coming in. My husband is working 2 jobs and I dont want him to have to get another one.

What can I do next?

Go through your home and start listing things on ebay and craigslist for sale. You will be surprised at what you do not NEED to get by...and make money off the things you thought you needed...

I am a recruiter. I can work on contracts - most of my contracts are government contracts and since the government still can't get a budget together - government contractors have held back on hiring...that being said - when it's up and running - I make good money working from home. I have a dedicated phone line, fax machine and computer.

There are MANY jobs out there...you just have to THINK before you act. There are companies that are hiring for customer service representatives...USAA, Deer Park Bottling Company and several others.

I cannot reiterate enough when working from home you are WORKING - so you can't have the kids (babies, toddlers) around - with things like ebay and craigslist - it doesn't matter but the other jobs it does.

There are plenty of companies hiring for seasonal help right now - UPS, FEDEX and USPS...if you are looking for something temporary to get extra money in the door.

I don't know what you do or what skills you have. So it makes it hard to truly answer your question.

This question is asked almost daily. Rest assured you'll be hit up with all the MLM'rs, direct sales people trying to recruit you to get rich quick selling their wares but investing in their company, selling stuff you may or may not believe in, hosting parties no one wants to go to, recruiting more people so you can actually make a little money.... it is a never ending cycle.

Work at home is just that..... work. Companies who do have people working from home usually don't start with people working at home because it takes someone who has discipline, motivation and the children in childcare of some kind because who wants a rep making/taking calls with the noises of little children and pets in the background. You have to prove yourself first.

You said you were a teacher... what subject was your best? Meet with other teachers/peers and get on the lists at schools as a tutor. You can tutor from your home IF YOU CHILDREN ARE NOT AROUND TO DISTURB YOU. Many tutors will meet at the local library, etc to have quiet time for tutoring. Around here an academic tutor starts at $50/hour cash.

Sell things on Ebay, babysit, etc.

Working from home is a job. We run our company(non MLM) from home and it is a 24/7 deal. You don't walk away from it at 5 pm.. You walk away when you are taking a break and then you are back on it. We spend an incredible time for forecasting, planning, etc. We are in raw materials brokering/consulting.

Whatever you choose, best wishes to you and I hope you find a good fit.

arise.com is a at home business....it is very ligit but will take some start up money and online tests to qualify. You are basicly paying to establish yourself to be incorporated and then they help you connect with a business to be their operator from home. It is about a 2 month process if all goes well. You are asked to send away for a head set. You have to do the work to find your company, but they walk you through it and help you get interviews. Everything is done at home, you set your own hours and you have to pick up the phone one after another in the time slot you choose. It is up to you how many hours you block for that at a time.... it can be pretty demanding, yet rewarding to the money you make per call or per hour. It is up to the company what they pay. Arise just helps you get " certified " to do it.

A guy I used to work with keeps telling me his daughter is working for www.nursecore.net. It's not just for nurses, there is customer service -- I believe it involves matching patients to home health services nearby.

I looked on the site & there were no current jobs where I live but never pursued it (got another job). I might check into it, since I'm not happy where I am. It's legit; I messaged his daughter on facebook & she confirmed.
