Need some ideas.
Not that I don't have any... but my kids' Grandma, wants me to 'shop' for her in getting them their Christmas gifts.
I know what to get for my son.
But for my 9 year old daughter.... well, who knows.
She has so many interests.

TIA!

I have 8 and 10 year old girls. They both want more clothes for their American Girls - I might get them one outfit from AG, and then a couple more at AC Moore for less money. My younger one LOVES Calico Critters. She practically has a whole village going on in our basement. It's not cheap, but it's really cute stuff the she does a lot of imaginary play with them. I just bought my 10 year old a video camera for Christmas. Nothing special, just a flip video from Walmart for $40. She keeps stealing my video camera and filming her dolls/animals, etc. The other day I went to video her sister's school play and didn't know until I got to school that the SD card was all used up! So really, my gift is to keep her from touching my stuff! I also bought my 8 year old a regular camera (big sis got one when she was 8) Again, nothing special. It's a Vivitar from Kohl's. It was $129, marked down to $65 and then I had the 30 percent off coupon. Not too shabby!

My 9 yr old constantly wants a horse, followed by living on a farm, loves to figure skate....and wants those nail decorating kits in the Scholastic book order forms. Ugh to the last one.

I would think most creative craft kits, sold at Michael's are a good choice too.

I was just thinking about the same thing for my 9 year old daughter the other day. I asked her if she has any ideas of items she might like for Christmas, and she said she would like some clothes for her American Girl doll, an iTunes gift card, clothes, a Kindle or iPad (HAHAHahahahaaa...), and a gift card to Build a Bear. I swear, I have no idea where she came up with half of this stuff, but there you have it.

My younger daughter (who is 6) said she wants more My Little Ponies. Okay, easy enough! I'm longing for the days when my 9 year old was younger and didn't have so many opinions! LOL

My 9 yo told me that the Zoobles 'mamas and babies', Xia Xia toys and Monster High dolls and accessories seem to be really hot this year. I know mine wants the FurReal friends 'Cookie' dog.
