I actually lost weight. About 5 pounds. I thought it was great. I understand it does different things for different people though. Good luck!

I took a year or so ago. I gained 8 pounds in the first week and a total of 20 lbs in the first 4-5 weeks. This is not necessarily what everyone will do but I ballooned.

i experience weight gain with cymbalta. i was perscribed this when i went in for back and neck pain...but was also separated and starting the divorce process, so it was supposed to help depression and anxiety as well. i had all kinds of side affects that my doctor told me were normal...excessive sweating, dry mouth, insomnia, nervousness, twitching in the hands...and weight gain! i got off of it myself after i got even more depressed with the weight gain and was frustrated with always being so hot and sweaty(which is not at all normal for me) my neck and back pain came back worse than ever, but i felt like myself again. i recently went to a pychiatrist since my counselor said that med was not the right one for me and to see a doctor that new about those types of meds in more detail, and i am on effexor xr (since i did get depressed after the weight gain and divorce) this is apparently the right med for me...next to no side affects and i have lost weight even, and feel really good since i have gotten so many compliments about how much better i look. good luck.

I agree that the weight gain is depressing enough. I took Paxil for a short time and gained weight. And I only took it for a year. Most of the depression meds make you gain weight and most doctors don't mention it-at least mine didn't. I also had a very hard time losing the weight even after I stopped taking it. I had to eat very minimum to finally get the weight off. I have always been thin so the weight gain for me was very depressing.
Now I take Mindsoothe - and it has been even better than the Paxil. I can handle stressful situations and my moods feel very stabilized. Best of all, there's no side effects of gaining weight.

Hi!

All medications have a risk of some side affect. Each will affect your individual body uniquely. It sounds like your body is holding onto toxins and they are causing weight gain.

This information may not be of interest to you – but you probably know someone that is desperately seeking help in this area.

“Who do you know that would like to lose 5 – 15 pounds in 9 days?”

Here is the website that can be checked for further information: D..isagenix.com (no www needed)

On the left hand side of the screen - down several boxes - you will see a blue
box with a picture of a woman on it. That is a video by Dr. Becky Natrajin
(M.D.). Click on it to watch: "Are you toxic?"

Then, go back to the first screen and on the left hand side - about two box
es down there are more videos to watch. This site has lots of info about cleaning out the toxins from our bodies and watching the excess water and fat melt off!

Hope you enjoy the information - it is incredible!

Why does Isagenix work? It works because it cleanses the body to eliminate toxins - then the excess fat and water are released to allow weight loss. Healthy insides make healthy bodies!
