It might be too far away from you, but we like Zonkers at the Great Mall in Olathe.

It's about the only thing left in the mall that is open, but it has lots of games, many geared for young kids, it has a soft play area best suited for kids 3 or older and it has about some carnival rides - a train, flying bananas, merry-go-round and even a small roller coaster.

You can get a Toddler pass for kids under 36 inches for about $7.00 that lets them ride everything as many times as they want.

Crown Center/Union Station are always fun to go to during the Holiday Season

There was one mom/daycare provider talking about a place in Liberty that has a new indoor play area.

Wonderscope in Shawnee

Old Missouri Town in Lake Jacomo.. it's not inside, but fun. Don't forgot to feed the Bison and Elk, just bring lots of carrots.

During the Holiday Season - Driving to Longview Lake for the Christmas in the Park display. You stay in the car but it's pretty neat.

Liberty has a new indoor park. There are a few of the blow-up jump-around parks. There is one on North Oak and one in Kansas, too. There are gymnasiums that have the trampolines and foam pits. There is one in Riverside and one near the airport off of Tiffany Springs. Zona Rosa has a new play area with the foam statues they climb on. There's is brand new and I haven't seen it. Independence center has one. There's is super big and usually crowded which makes me nervous. The Great Mall in Kansas has one also which is pretty slow

Check out Wonderscope Children's Museum in Shawnee. Also on SMPkwy is PowerPlay. There is a section for younger kids and if you get the buffet, there is a great movie room in the back with full feature movies playing on the huge wall.

it kind of depends on where in Kc you are. Some of the shopping centers and malls have indoor play areas, gymnastics centers have open gym times, things like discovery zone and gymnoree are also options

You could try Kalidescope, the Art Museum, Tunnel Town, there are also some plays at the Coitiere? theatre that are pretty inexpensive.

A friend of mine works for a daycare center in Shawnee and is interested in your Little Blessings company. She is due to have her first baby in March 12, 2009.

There is a good directory of indoor activities at http://www.kckidsfun.com . Along the right side of the page you'll see categories including "Indoor Activities" "Playzones" and "Open Gyms"

There is also a good kid-friendly events calendar - check the "Calendar" tab at the top of the page.

(Full disclosure - I run the website!)
