I am having trouble finding a good vaccine friendly pediatrician around Katy or Houston. Does anyone have a doc they recommend? I am vaccinated my daughter, I just don't want everything combined in once vaccine and I am doing a delayed schedule. I feel VERY looked down upon when I go to my current pediatrician so I need help finding someone who will respect my decisions. Anyone know of a vaccine friendly pediatrician anywhere around Katy or Houston/Sugarland area??? thanks!!!

Dr. Lentsch (I might not have her name spelled right; her # is ###-###-####. She is located on Westheimer Pkwy. close to 99. My kids have been going thet for several years and I LOVE them. I personally prefer the PA(physicians assistant)Helen; but Dr. Lentsch is awesome also and they are quick.

I am a sahm to an 8 almost 9 yr. old boy and a 7 almost 8 yr. old daughter. I live in Katy also and have been married for almost 10 yrs.

I would second Dr. Gordon- she is wonderful & will listen to your concerns & is very accommodating. 281-395-KIDS is her number.

Dr Dinghra at Kelsey Seybold is a good peditrician. I am a conscious objector to vaccinations and she respects my wishes so I'm sure she would respect yours as well.

Dr. Shamim Ali on the corner of Kingsland & Fry I think...in the new doctors building on the corner there. She's VERY (actually, extremely) thorough on your health, vaccinations (for adults as well as children), very very good doctor. She wks on Saturdays too...at least she did the last time I went to her. You may want to ck on that just to be sure. She's almost obsessive on making sure you get what you need and getting your health checks, etc. Just a very good all around doctor. ###-###-#### should be the correct number. Good luck.

I have a good dr. in NW houston that does not bug me about my choice not to vaccinate my children but he's a family doctor. If I were you I would find a good family doctor instead of a pediatrician. They are just as knowledgeable and they really don't hound you on the small things like pediatricians do.

My pediatrician is wonderful. Towne Center Pediatrics. It is in Sugar Land but well worth the drive. They do vaccinate obviously but they will do it willingly on your schedule. Even if they have an opinion they are very good about giving and then honoring whatever your decision will be.

Good Luck!

Hi,

I go to Dr Gordon in Katy. ###-###-#### Her office is off of S. Fry and Peek rd. I have a 15 month old and I am going through this as well. She did not get all her 12 month shots at once. She spaced them out to my request. One shot she still has to take. So I would try her out.

Pearland Pediatrics accepts patients on alternate schedules only. They do not accept exemptions. Maybe this will help.
Dr. Manso (in Houston) is a holistic doctor who is really good - but he is expensive and does not accept insurance.
I am having trouble finding a pediatrician for my two children as well, here in the Houston area.

I'm a new Mom to a beautiful 7 week old baby boy. I interviewed Dr. Lentsch, prior to giving birth, as I too feel strongly about him getting some vaccines and not getting others and delaying the schedule etc....
Anyway, she said she believes in vaccines and she vaccinated her children - BUT, she respects that mine is not her child - she said when the time came we could discuss options and she would give me her opinion on which to choose if I didn't want all of them. We're going for our 2 month visit on the 27th and I'm not going to allow any vaccines yet - so, I can let you know how it goes. Given our conversation though - I felt she would be cooperative.
