I just noticed the top baby names of 2013 have been released according to SSA. Noah is now the #1 boy name (I like this name) and Sophia is still the top girl name. Does anyone have opinions or predictions on names that will soon fall out of favor or continue to rise?
I think Noah will still around for a couple of reasons. It is biblical and current (I didn't realize only Jacob and Michael have been #1 since the 1960's). I really thought Ethan wiggled it's way up there at some point.
I think Sophia will stay strong. I am thinking Isabella may have run out of some steam. It is such a pretty name though. Aria is going to become more popular (love this name).

I have noticed a huge upswing in Neveah for girls. I imagine teachers are going to have lots of second- initial students in a couple years when that generation starts school. Lol.m
My oldest is Liam (name #2). He is almost 9...I guess I'm a trendsetter:)
It seems Emma and Emily are going strong.
There will be plenty of Aunty Em's out there for quite awhile.
