Hi Mamas,

Sort of a simple question...however very hard to find...I am looking for a tank top that is a quite a bit higher in the front. Need one for layering clothes that are too low cut for winter....so my chest does not freeze.....BRRRR! Why is it that almost everything is low cut now:(? Please let me know where I can find such an item ......

Thanks in Advance!

What can I do next?

Have you looked at Old Navy?

I get most of my tank tops from there. They have some that aren't too low cut, and they are really comfy.
Target, & Wal-mart have some too.

I got mine at Steinmart. I don't know the brand name, but it's a brand they continually carry. I think they are made for Steinmart. I am bigger busted woman, so I don't need the girls falling out and these seem to fit with the shelf bra that doesn't cut into me or make me look like I have a uniboob.

I don't know if you are looking for 'wife beater' type tanks, or the cami-type, like the kind with shelf bras in them... I use both.

Old Navy has beater-tanks that aren't too awfully low.

JC Penney has a great cami-type. They are in the ANA brand, and they do not have the shelf bra in them, which is great for me, because I am larger chested, and the shelf bras are often too small, forcing the top to ride much lower than I want it, with much too much cleavage sticking out. These also have adjustable straps, so you can wear them as low or high as you like. They are my favorite.

I have a few from Coldwater Creek and I love them! They have adjustable straps so you can adjust it higher or lower depending on comfort level.

DownEast outfitters is the BEST place for high-cut, long camisoles. They make them with spaghetti or thick straps, and they also come plain or with lace on the bottom. LOTS of cute colors too!

I have about 10 of them and wear them almost every day!

I get mine at Sam's Club. I don't know the brand they are. I also get some "wife beaters" at Target too. I always wear a tank under everything I wear.

Good luck.

I know just what you mean about the cold factor!! LOL!! I get mine at either Chico's or Coldwater Creek. Look for the "modesty" cut ones. They're great!

I've gotten some nice tank tops through Lands End and LLBean over the years. Not sure what they have available right now.

Lands' End has some great tops. The spring/summer line should be coming out soon. In the mean time you could check their clearance/overstocks and see what's available from last year.
