Swollen Glands?

HI G. my son his 6 and had this weekend the same thing it was horroble the were huge i took him to dr and they told us that it was a virus going on be careful and take her to the dr.

My friend recently had to take her daughter(3yrs old)to the doctor because she had swollen glands behind her ear and they kept getting bigger. The doctor put her on antibiotics and now she is fine. Before she took her to the doctor, her daughter became feverish with night chills. I don't want to alarm you, but the doctor told her if she would have waited another day that the situation could have been fatal. I think you should take your daughter to see the doctor asap!!

I have it right now too. Feels exactly the same. Mine has since let off a little but still have green gubbery stuff in the sinuses. I also feel achy all over especially in my neck. It could be the flu, that's what I thought mine was. Chances are what your 3 year old has she will get too.

I can't wait for my two to get sick! Yea fun

Does she have a cavity in a molar? That could be it. Could be Mono. I would take her to the doctor and have her checked out if she's that uncomfortable. Give her some ibuprofen as that is an anti-inflammatory, it will help with the discomfort.

whenever my glands would swell like that it was always strp throat. If her throat hurts and is red I would get her to a doc soon. Take care

My 3 year old also is going through the same thing it was his ear was irritated for a few days I thought it could be an ear infection but till the back of his ear got swollen went to his doctor told her about it she just looked in his ear and his ear was hurting him but she grab his ear anyway and just said oh it could be cause something bit him all she told me was to get pain reliever medicine for him did not prescribe me or anything I was good to go she was also late

Like everyone else here I would strongly suggest you take her to the Doctor. It could be a cavity, an ear wax build up or the flu. Safest route...to the doctor. Hope both your kids feel better soon.

Look and see if her neck looks swollen. It could be her wisdom tooth coming in, check her mouth, feel around for new tooth forming or it could sound like the start of meningitis, not to alarm you, you can nip this quickly if you get her to the FL hosp clinics, if you don't have a trusted doc.

I had those same symptoms and it exculates quickly. Take care, I'll pray for you and just get her seen. Hope it works out well. Let me know.

Thats what happened to me when I had mono, I would get her checked out, it could just be strep but you never know...

When I had strep throat, I hurt all over and couldn't open my mouth.

You should definitely take her to a doctor.
