Both of my sons are very skinny and I tried ALL of the diapers out there. Pampers are the only ones that kept my boys dry. Hope this helps!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Seventh Generation diapers. They are super absorbant. We never have leak problems. I buy them from Diapers.com (way cheaper than buying in the store). Good luck.

I saw absorbent liners for disposable diapers at babies'r'us. I would think they would be available at your local babies'r'us or online. I think there was one response about cloth diapers...we have never had a nighttime leak with cloth. It is an investment, but well worth it! My husband even thinks they are just as easy as disposables.

We use Luvs for my son. Every once in a while he has a super wet night and when I change his diaper in the morning it seems to weigh like 3lbs, but he isn't wet at all. He is also mainly a belly sleeper.

Yep! Go up to the next size for her nighttime diaper, and choose a great brand: Huggies, Pampers, or Kirkland (Costco).

We like Pampers Cruisers (Baby Dry aren't worth anything, even for day), Luvs and White Cloud. When we have that problem, we go up a size. Our littlest is 13 pounds, 4 months and going through #3s like nothing, but we don't have any leaks with the Luvs for her. The others I have used with my boys, as well as Luvs. We've been very happy with all three. If a size up doesn't work, you could order some PODS from a potty training site and use those in the diaper.

I have a tiny little girl as well. In fact we never went higher then a size three diaper. YEAH! Huggies overnights work great. In stores you will only find sizes 4 and higher, however they do make a size 3. I always orderd them from diapers.com. They work Wonders!

Great idea about going up a size (I hadn't though of that). If you still need more absorbance, try the regular sized diaper and a size (or 2) larger over that. Bulky, but it could work.

Going up a size in paper diapers will probably do the trick, but you could also consider cloth diapering her at night. I've never had a blow-out with a good cloth diaper because they have elastic all around the legs and waist, and you can add as much absorbancy as you need. New cloth diapers are as easy as paper diapers--velcro or snap closures and no toilet dunking (ew!).
I like Fuzzi Bunz brand pocket-style diapers or a fitten diaper such as Kissaluvs ith a great wool cover, such as Disana or Aristocrats, for overnight. Seems like a lot of money to put out at once, but it's a one-time expense at the laundry is no big deal--especially since it saves you from washing all the bedding! I have had total luck with the Pampers brand. For night time, I place the 'next size up' on my little one. So if she wears a 4 during the day, use a 5 at night. For us it worked really well.
Good luck.

Maybe you could try the next size up diaper just for night-time so it goes a little higher to help absorb more.

I also have a 7 month old baby girl who is a stomach sleeper. We had the same problem with her waking up soaking wet. I just started using huggies overnights (size 3) and they work great! I found them in a size 3 at our local Smiths grocery store. Good luck!

Yes, I ran into this same problem with my little girl, probably right around the same exact age....they make special night time diapers! I was so excited, and they work like a charm...Huggies puts them out they are called "Overnights" and come in a purple package....at that time my daughtet was in a size 3 diaper, however I can only find size 4 in the overnights, but they worked great and still fit her great, we still use them today and she is 18 months and we have never had an accident in the night! Good luck!

We use Huggies Overnites at night. Since we started using them 2 yrs ago, we have never had a leak yet. We also use them during plane rides and long car trips.

we also went up a size, and I would fold the top of the diaper IN so that the tabs still held well and there was another shield. we found our best success with an offbrand diaper actually--I think part of it depends on the kid and the way we put diapers on--Good luck!!

HI C.,
I would do like the other mom's suggested and definitly go up a size on the diapers but also make sure that you put her in a dry diaper when you put her to bed. I know that if my baby's diaper is alittle wet when she falls asleep it leaks later in the night and then I'm changing it anyway. Good luck!

We had this problem with both boys and we found that putting them into a larger sized diaper at night solved the problem. The bigger diaper rose highter on their back and belly and of course was made to hold more liquid.

So if you are using a size 2 right now, at night put on a size 3. Also, we used Huggies and there are 2 types. There is one, I think Huggies Premium maybe (dark red box), that is made to fit lower on the belly. Sons leaked through these even with a bigger size. We've had best success with just regular Huggies in the red and white box.

With my first son, I found some diaper inserts at the grocery store - looked kind of like a small maxipad but made out of diaper-material. It fit inside the diaper and between the legs. I can imagine there are different sizes of these out there.

Here's to many more dry nights!!

Been there. I never thought it made sense, but when mine leaked, I went up a size. Sometimes I had to set the sticky tab very close to over lapping. I also used a larger size at night and also doubled them up. alsa, double up the bed sheets. I put a matress cover, sheet, mattress cover, sheet, and sometimes even another set. then you can rip off a wet sheet after nursing in the mddle of the night if wet. this works well when the child is sick and later for potty training.

Because she is only 15 pounds, I haven't seen night time diapers for that weight. But look into Huggies. I used them with my 1st son and now my 2nd son. You can also look into getting something that is called "doublers." They look like a pad. I had to use them with my 1st son, even with a night time diaper, but they work well. I have seen them at Toys R Us.

go up a size, the bigger the diaper the more it holds. My daughter is really small for her age too, dont go by weight that the diaper says. I would try to go up a size that should help out a ton. But then again you have to make sure there arent gaps so one size should work. Also I love pampers they have been the best diapers I have gone through I dont have very many leaks in those. I have tried several others and they don't hold near as much as the pampers do.
