I think a lot of us are in the same boat! :)

I have kept the books (accounts payable, receivable, andpayroll) for a small construction company from home for 3 years. I don't know of your experience or education, but maybe some sort of data entry?

I will say, however, it is not easy to work at home. I make more errors and i think it is not very professional for there to be screaming in the background and scribble marks on our employee's paychecks. Many nights i stay up until 2 or 3 working and have to get up at 7:30 with my kids. My son does not nap, so that means i don't eather. All in all, i think my children are the ones who suffer. Many times we have to stop reading books or playing outside to take a phonecall or send a fax. Also, you have to be VERY disciplined not to use the TV as a babysitter.

My reccommendation? Find a mom you trust to trade babysitting hours so you each get to work 20 hours per week without the cost of childcare.

If you find something I would love to know..Im looking too and dont want to have to sell makeup or something like that. A long time ago my dad was putting screws in little baggies for a cell phone company at home and got paid by how many he did...I would love something like that that is a real job where you dont have to invest money to make it. I'm a WAHM and if you want to give me a call I will share with you what I do from home.... and it can be worked around the family ect... I have 2 young kids and its work to schedule my hrs around them but it is so worth it , not having to have someone else raise my children while I work a 8-5.
