I have recently started working from home, in addition to my full time job, in hopes to be a a full time stay at home mom in the near future. I would be happy to share the information (no obligation). Let me know.

Hi E.,

I switched over to working at home once I had my kids too (couldn't do my psychotherapy hrs anymore). I work with a company called Arbonne International (It's a Swiss Health and Welllness company). Never thought that I would do something like this, but having kids changes things (and Arbonne is an amazing company, and great compensation plan). This is a real job (i.e. not a get rich quick scheme) but with hard work, you can really change your life and others. If you are interested in some more info, I can send you my website and/or you can always go to the main website- www.arbonne.com Have a great day! Take care. Talk to you soon! *C.

this question comes up all the time! lol. its always one of my favorites though given that i have tried just about all of it.

unfortunately, work at home jobs are not the same as work outside the home jobs. Part of what you trade off to be able to stay home and reduce the expenses of daycare, gas for your car to drive to work, etc is that you give up hourly pay. there ARE work from home jobs, and they CAN replace an income, but i would say on average they take about 1-2 years to really replace a full time income if you are really working at it.

There are lots of different things you can do, but you really need to find your niche and what really works for YOU. You could run an in-home daycare, you could sell cosmetics like mary-kay or avon (i recommend avon over mary-kay personally. there are a lot of fees, but there is no inventory and i like the products more), i have a friend that sells premier jewelry and pulls in a 300-500 a month, but it does cost a couple thousand to start. there is also things like pampered chef and what not.

I work from home and i really enjoy it, but again, its not a get rich quick thing. ive been doing it about a year and i bring in a good chunk of monthly income, but it is by no means a full time job. I enjoy it because i just help educate people on health and health is something that i really care about, especially when it comes to kids since my own kids had health issues before.

i dont know if that even sounds like something you would like, but if it is the website you want to check out is http://www.PerfectWorkForMoms.com

Hi Rae,

There are lots of legit work at home jobs. It really depends on what you are wanting and how much you are needing. Are you wanting a job that pays you a set about per hour or are you interested in a business that offers an unlimited earning amount based on your efforts? You probably have already thought about these items but just in case you haven't....how much time do you have to work from home per day or week?, how much money do you need or want to make per month?, what difference will this make to your family?, and what are some of my passions?.

If you are ready to start dreaming I would love to talk to you.

Two respected, amazing companies ... both of which have many stay-at-home moms who work as many hours or as few as fits their schedule. One company has a history of 54 years. The other is just 5 years old but growing by leaps and bounds. If you want to know more information, let me know. I work part time with both of them. I also know of a third company (who my daughter works with). I'll send you a private message with my phone number. Enjoy your day!! ~~m

Hi Proud----What are your interests? That might help to steer you in the right direction. I see you've gotten some great ideas. Working at home has it's advantages, and what you do sort of depends on why you want to stay at home.

I work with a company that promotes healthcare education and offers a whole food based supplement to support that. It's not hard to do this business, but you do have to work at it. I love helping people learn how to be healthier and our product has the support of numerous independent, peer-reviewed studies to show that it helps to make every cell in the body healthier. My website is www.dianeshealthed.com. Please explore it and then I'd love to share with you what I do. Maybe it's for you, maybe it's not, but it's worth some time to check it out. We can meet for coffee then so I can answer your questions.

We are hosting one of our Prevention Plus Health education talks on Sept 21 at the Troy Community Center. Dr. Carol Watson, an RN/Naturopathic Dr. with a doctorate in nutritional counseling will be talking about 'Living People thrive on Living Food' at 6:30. She will then do a brief Virtual Franchise overview after that. Please join me and see what we are about. And, quite simply, we are about helping others.

I look forward to talking with you soon. Be well, D. ###-###-####

Yes there are lots of legit companies out there which will allow you to work from home. But I do believe people must do their homework and even more importantly decide what they are willing to do in order to make what they want to make. Are you looking to replace an income or bring in some extra money. And then how long for building and what are you willing to give up because you will have to be dedicated and focused? What kind of marketing would you like for your business, party type, products, non - products? Talk it over with your spouse and family too as I have a found with a home based business everyone in the house is involved. I do have a home based business opportunity that I would love to introduce you to - it is only a 45 minute webcast which would give you info about the company and the business. It would be a great way to start and get an idea of some of what is out there. Send me a pm and I will give you the logon info. Thanks and lots of luck.

Last November, I started working from home selling Discovery Toys and I love it. I do at-home parties, preschool events, and occasional other events/boutiques. I have met a lot of great moms and made many new friends through the business. Plus, I think the toys are really great quality and my son loves playing with them. He's learned a lot from them, too.

I'd be happy to give you more information and would love to have you as a member of my team. Feel free to send me a private message and please check out my site at http://www.discoverytoyslink.com/karenchao

Hope to hear from you!
