My 3 1/2 year old is starting soccer this Spring and hubby is having a hard time finding his size (Toddler soze 8) - everywhere he has gone says they start at size 10. I looked on zappos and amazon and same thing. Honestly, I would be fine with him using regular sneakers (the school is ok with this too) but my husband is so excited and is such a huge soccer fan, that I want to see if I can find them....

Anyone know where I might be able to find cleats in toddler size 8?

Thanks in advance.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Nothing on Target.com or Nike.com. Payless has toddler size 9 as smallest size... any other suggestions?

Thanks ladies!

Get the size 10 and wear two pair of socks (or three).

Am I the only one that grew up poor and bought shoes 2-3 sizes too big? :)

Have you taken your son to try them? The size 9 or 10 may fit. By the time you add the thick soccer socks, shin guards, etc.

If you find a size 8 they will be super cute :) However, it's pretty unlikely.

I would get the toddler 9 and double sock them (athletic sock, shin guard, soccer sock). Soccer cleats are cut small enough that a size up isn't a HUGE deal as long as it isn't making him trip. My son is 6 now and we always buy his cleats a half size up to be sure he can make it through the season. When his feet grow, just stop using the athletic sock and you can get another round of use out of them :)

HTH.

Have you tried Dick's Sporting Goods? They had them two years ago. My daughter wore size 8-9.

ETA: someone else mention it below...you might get a little bigger anyway due to socks, guards and growth...we have been able to get fall and spring seasons out of each pair.

I got a free pair on craigslist for free, they were looking for a good home. I have since passed them on. They were Nike's with a zipper that angled up towards the center top.

I mailed them a pre-addressed envelope that had fibers in it to keep the insides from breaking through. My sister mails stuff in those envelopes that are heavy plastic. I took a pair of larger cleats to the post office when I went to buy the bag, the counter person weighed them for me and put that much postage on the envelope I bought. I then put that envelope inside another one and mailed it to the address they had provided me with. I got the shoes back in the envelope I had sent them in a few days. They were in Tulsa area and I was OKC.

They were either 8 or 8 1/2. I would try googling them. I found some at various sites plus a couple on ebay.

try going to Google shopping and type cleats toddler 8 or something similar. I found a ton of other sites like endless, 6pm, shoes.com, and others that sell a good variety of shoes. Good tip for any kind of shopping! Good luck!

Check Dick's. We just got a size 9 there for our son. Didn't notice if they had an 8 but a 9 might fit. They even had package deals. The Umbro set was 35$ for a ball, cleats and shin guards. Addidas was 45$ Good luck
