Side Dish & Appetizer Recipes for Thanksgiving

Last year, I made my first Thanksgiving dinner, which turned out really well. This year, I'm going to my grandparent's house.

I always take a pie, because I never know what else to take. I don't want to be boring, and I'd like to make something myself, I'm just so scared that it won't turn out good and I'll be embarrassed.

What do you make to take with you that's relatively simple, affordable, and popular for the holidays?

If you don't mind, please post a recipe with directions for hits at your get togethers... or a link with that info :)) Thanks!

I probably sound like a broken record, because I suggested this before, but the Martha Stewart website, has great recipes and many of them are very easy. I have used her recipes too, and EVERYONE loved it.
