Hi,I'm coming to South burlington to work for 2 weeks. My mother is coming to watch my 3 year old daughter. Please tell me some activitys for them to do.Mall playgrounds, art classes,a gym like my gym or little gym. They don't want to do factory tours or farms.I would like her to interact with other children.I'm arriving March 23rd. Any suggestions would be great!

Church street marketplace
Fletcher Free library (has good play area in the children's library and they also have singalongs, etc. )
YMCA (family gym where they can romp around, also a pool)
ECHO center (a hands-on science museum with a water table, sand table)
Playgrounds: Battery Park (overlooking Lake); Edmunds elementary (Main Street in Burlington)
Local Motion on waterfront has bikes and bike trailers to rent.
These are all Burlington - I'm not quite as up on SB (more of a bedroom community plus some big box stores), but they are very close to each other.
A great website to check out for kid-friendly activities is findandgoseek.net. Have fun!
Hi W.,
Here is a site that will have all you need/want to know and more!! www.kidsvt.com
Check the column on the left side of the homepage and you'll find all kinds of great information. There is a variety of calendars, including a recurring activity calendar that is color-coded by activity, i.e., playgroups, toddler gym, storytimes and the like (MANY right in South Burlington). You shouldn't have any problem finding stuff to do with your kids!
Hope you enjoy the area while you're here!
