Seeking Veterinarian in Jefferson Park/ Norwood Park Area/ Norridge

Just leaving in 10 mins to go to the vet.: Dr. Landini of Animal Ark, 3235 N. Kedzie, 773/442-6500. I am a new patient but am very impressed and got the recommendation from a longtime client with dogs with very acute health needs. We have 6 cats so it is very important to us that we have a great vet and one who appreciates that the animals are an important part of the family and concerned with care and not making the fast buck (bad stories about old vet). Animal Ark also supports other nfp animal shelters which is also important to us. We live in Jeff Park. Good luck!

Vets have gone up in price, yikes....

I love Dr.Lynette DiCuala(sp?) at Portage Park on Irving. She's U of I (a great vet school) educated, and her dogbedside manner is bar none. She's intuitive and great with my Boston terrier. Give her a try.

I don't know about Norwood Animal Hospital's rates for yearly well-health appointments. We went there (all the way from the South Side)to treat our cat's broken leg. The care for him was excellent. Dr. Hammer and the rest of the doctors and staff were so kind to him and us. I think it was illustrative of the care they give all their patients, not just those with extenuating circumstances.

Abell Animal Hospital on Northwest Hwy (just northwest of Nagle) is wonderful and I believe it is reasonably priced from my experience.

Try Avondale Animal Hospital in Norwood Park. The address is 6146 N. Northwest HWY. Phone # ###-###-####. I take my dog to them, and I think they are very reasonable and very nice people.
