Seeking Quality Vet

I am having problems with a 6yrold male cat vomiting after his morning meal. I feel like it's because he's gorging himself, but want to consult a vet to be sure. So, my second problem is that I need some vet advice. I used to take my 2 cats to the Lex Hosp for Cats but have become so dissatisfied that I am search of a new place. I need a good vet at a low price...any suggestions would be appreciated!

What can I do next?

We use Richmond Road Vet Hospital. My parents also take their pets there, so every pet I've ever owned has been cared for by them! They are very friendly and caring, and they usually have same day appointments. They've gotten my pets through several serious illnesses. They're located across from St. Jo East at Richmond Rd. and MOW. Here's their number: ###-###-####‎

My 6 year old cat was the same way. It ended up being the food. Once I switched him, he's been fine. I use Beaumont Vet. Dr. Nieves is the BEST! Their number is 224-CATS. Another vet that LOVES cats is Boston Road Vet. I take my dog to get groomed there, and the dr. has 20 cats at home and is always taking in stray kittens to give away.

I do animal rescue and have 20 cats and 15 dogs. I've done the animal thing my whole life. You definately should take cat to vet but let me also suggest you start a new feeding regimen. My cats have food left out for them all the time & can eat whenever they want. They do not gorge themselves & are not fat. I also use a mix of good food: Iams Digestive Care & Iams Hairball & Healthy Weight mixed with Purina One Hairball Formula. The best vets in town (& believe me, I've tried them ALL) are Dr. Gibson & Dr. Neusome at Noah's Ark Animal Hospital on Chinoe. Tell them Teresa in Winchester sent you.

Hi S.!

I have two dogs that we have taken to CMVC (Clays Mill Vet Clinic) since the oldest was weeks old. I have always loved the care they have given my animals. We have never had a catastrophe...but my oldest has severe alergies and we have had to call them in on a holiday or two for treatment. They have never heitated to help us and have always been happy to do so. I would never take my dogs anywhere else! Their number is ###-###-####.

Good luck!

We use Brighton Animal Clinic. They are on the corner of Man O War and Todd's Rd. Dr Montgomery is great! They are also very reasonable with pricing of services and meds. We take our cats and dog there. They were wonderful when we lost a dog to lymphoma a year and a half ago. Very caring and compassionate!
