Email the MOMS Club of Oakland (not to be confused with East Bay Moms) for information on this supportive and fun group. ____@____.com

Go to Meetup.com and search for East Bay Playgroup! I've been with them for 2 years now. They have stuff to do all the time, and everyone is really nice!

If you are willing to come to Alameda I think you would really enjoy My Play Place. Toddlers and parents (or caregivers) attend one or two 2-hour classes per week with the same group of others toddlers and parents. Classes are facilitated by an experienced teacher/mom (myself or my partner Renee) and the space is set up with all kinds of fun things you wouldn't want to have in your own home! Because of the consistency of the group and the predictable schedule (the two hours follows the same schedule each time), moms and toddlers can really feel comfortable and socialize. I invite you to check out a class for free with your kids. Check out the website for a more complete picture of what this is all about. Good luck finding the right place to play. I hope we can meet you!

Twins By the Bay is your local twins club. There's an email list where you can hook up with other parents of twins and hopefully find a playgroup. I have 2 1/2 year old b/g twins, too!

Hi D.,
Congratulations on your move! Just a thought - have you joined any twins groups? I have 3 yr old boy/girl twins, and the group I'm involved in has about 100 family members - all with some type of multiple situation (many with singletons too!) I live 'this side' of the Caldecott but I know there is the Berkeley Parent Network and other twins clubs you could contact for meeting moms...
