I second Diana! Dr. Goldstein is awesome! The little one I am a nanny for goes there and I am seriously considering him for my baby when mine is born. (the only reason I haven'y decided yet is that he is located about 30 mins where I live)

I use Maryland Pediatric Group. I do not know which docs are taking new patients, but I do LOVE the practice. I have not one thing negative to say about them at this time and I have a 3 year old and an 18 month old.....Good Luck

Hi L.,
Welcome to Baltimore! I take my daughter ( 22 mos) to See Dr. Yamcek at the North Parkville Health Center on Joppa rd. She is amazing! So caring and takes time with us. She might not be accepting new patients, but you can give it a try. I'm sorry I don't have her number in front of me, but if you can't find it in the phone book, then I'll make sure to give it to you.

I use Jason Goldstien who is with Pavilion Pediatrics in Lutherville (it is on Falls Road where 83 and 695 cross). He is amazing and I have had great experiences with the pratice.

We haven't been going to her very long (my daughter is only 4 weeks old!) but our pediatrician, Maureen Burke, at Johns Hopkins at White Marsh is absolutely fabulous. Off hours and unscheduled calls and requests have been quickly, effectively and kindly responded to.

Hi L.,
Welcome to town! I second the opinion for the Maryland Pediatric Group. I went there as a child and my twins go there now. We see Alan Lake, who is awesome, but all of the other docs there are, too. They also take all different insurances and have great protocols for off-hour calls. All of the docs are affiliated with Hopkins and other community hospitals, should you ever need it.

Good luck!

Hi - I have two kids who are 9 and 7 and we've been going to to Ken Tellerman since the oldest was born. His practice is on Coldspring Lane, an exit off Rte 83 (also called the "JFX") - ###-###-####. We love him. If you would prefer a "yuppie" practice (and I used to be one when I was young enough to qualify), Ken's not your man. He is a one-doc show, but does have a nurse practitioner come in limited hours for one day a week that has evening hours. I like him because I know I'll get a doctor to answer my question and won't be routed through triage. He is a little rumpled but it adds to his charm.

There is also a practice in the Towson area called Greenspring Pediatrics Associates - it has multiple docs, a separate sick kids area, nurses to answer questions, etc. Good luck!
