'Seeking or Starting Moms' Group in Rockland County

Hi!
Have heard of Meetup.com? There are about 3-4 Rockland Mom groups on there. Also, perhaps consider national groups such as MOMS Club, La Leche League and Holistic Moms Network. Another great one is Rockland Parent-Child Center in Nyack. The YMCA, also in Nyack has classes for kids. This and any of the local Mommy and Me type classes provide a good environment to meet other Moms. I hope this helps. It's important to find playmates for the kids and good support systems for ourselves. It take a village ;)

I don't know of any, but I would love to try one myself.

For years I belonged to The Mothers' Center of Rockland County. It closed several years ago, due to failing financials from a decline in membership. The thing about Mothers' Centers is that they are about the mom... children are cared for in an on-site childcare room, but can be brought into the moms group when necessary.. It is a TOTALLY volunteer organization made op of Mothers helping mothers... A small group of moms could start it up again.. You would have tremendous help from us veterans...
