Seeking Nice Quality Sheets for Full Size Bed

Hello All-

I am looking to purchase sheets for my toddler's full-size bed. The problem is that the ones I've seen so far are made so cheaply and feel really rough on the skin. I'm not looking for silk sheets, but I'd at least like to get something soft enough that I would sleep on myslef. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
D.

HI Denise

I was just at the Little Skye Boutique in Prairie Crossing/Grayslake. They had a few really cute sets in there. I did not look to see if they carried full size so call ahead. http://stores.little-skye.com/StoreFront.bok

I would check Kohl's especially when they have an Early Bird Sale or homestore sale. You can also usually find some $ off for orders online. If you wanted to spend a lot of money, Company Store has fantastic stuff. Or maybe check out Bed Bath and Beyond and find at 20% coupon.

I just went throught the same thing after we bought our 2 yr old a big bed. Kohl's has nice sheets the brand is "The Big One" and they are super soft once washed.
Good Luck!

Overstock.com is the way to go. We get all our sheets from there and they are high thread counts and more than half off what you would pay in the stores.

We have had good luck with the Jersey material sheets from Target. It feels like a T-shirt, and they are durable. I think we might have paid $20 for the set.

We usually will get our sheets from Overstock.com - but if you're looking to get something where you can actually feel them first - try going to Homegoods or Marshalls/TJ Maxx - they usually will have high thread count sheet separates and sheet sets at a very discounted price.

Walmart usually carry cotton sheets that are really soft just like a t-shirt and in the winter it isn't so cold to get in the bed for the little one either. I love them myself!

At such a young age, the best thing is cotton sheets. He is two years old and likely to wet the bed at some point. You don't want to have "nice sheets" ruined because of an accident.
As he gets older and much more adaptable, try sateen sheets. They aren't satin, but they will feel fine. I started my sons on those when they were 4 because I knew that they weren't going to do accidents any longer and no more siblings either.
Best of luck.

Pottery Barn Kids has great sheets and they are super soft. If you can find a sheet set on sale (includes flat, fitted and 2 pillow cases) it can actually be a good deal. Full price is a little expensive. You may want to check their website too as they often have deals that are not in the stores.

We bought sheets for our 3-year-old's full size bed at Ikea. It's 100% cotton and the sheets come in bright colors and children's prints, too. They're also very reasonably priced, as we know we need more than one pair of sheets for these happy mess-makers!
