Hello ladies! You all have helped me before so I know you will come through again! I really need a new family doctor. I prefer a female, aged 40+. Someone that is sympathetic to women's "issues". I also prefer in the area of northern Johnson County, Mission, Lenexa, Shawnee, northern Overland Park. And I would like to get in asap!! Can anyone please suggest a GOOD, CARING, doctor? Thanks!

I can recommend Lilliana Nazzario. She is with Family Health Group on the 5th floor of St Lukes South. She is very attentive and listens well. They have two extentions, one for future appts and then one for if you need to be seen the same day. You can check it out on FamilyHealthGroup.net. Hope this helps and Good luck!
I go to Dr. Campbell at Leawood family care. They are awesome and you can usually get a new patient appt within a few days if not on the same day. All of the doctors are wonderful and they have a priority care area that is open 7 days a week. It is wonderful to be able to make an appt for regular things but also be able to go in for emergencies without an appt. They have come in very handy since I have a small child who was very sick after she was born and we needed a few emergency appts and they had everything from when she was born and know what was going on with her.

I would have to recommend Mission Family Health for a good doctor. They take babies all the way up in age. I have seen Dr Tran for over 6 yrs. She is in her late 30's early 40's very kind and compassionate and very knowledable.
There's also another lady named Missy and one other lady.
I would have to say 9 out of 10 times I can gat a same day apt. The doctors nursing assistanst have been there for years so that must say something for they way they run their office and the doctors.

PS I also use SM Pediactrics for the kids And all docs are good there.

They are located right in front of Shawnee Mission Medical Center. My daughter, now 2 1/2, had a lot of medical issues at 3 months and was a regular. I think we've seen all of the docs and all are great. Dr. Martin only works PT, I think (she has 4 boys), so we regularly see Dr. Olson and Dr. Hartman as well. I don't think Dr. Martin is 40something yet....more like 30something, but looks outside the box when need be and has connections with specialists when needed. Dr. Hartman (F) is younger than Martin....they almost look like sisters...it's funny! Dr. Olson is an older male....I don't think they have 40something woman at this practice, but still totally recommended!
