Hi Moms, I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant with my 3rd (after a tubal & miscarrage). The doctor I saw was out by the speedway and we've moved to Shawnee. I'm looking for a new OB in the Shawnee area (male). Does anyone have a great one? Do you think it would be best to make the drive out to the speedway?

If you are looking for a smaller practice--who you see is who delivers you--Dr. Mark Finkleston is wonderful. He's through Shawnee Mission and Menorah, his office is at 75th and Antioch. His wife runs the office, he's the only doctor, they've been really nice, supportive and wonderful to me for years; I highly recommend him!

Dr.Nibbelink he has two offices one yes is out by the speedway on State right off of 435 the other one is off midland by the movie theater in the first strip mall on the right.
Sorry I don't have a male doctor to recommend but I have to tell you that my midwife is wonderful! She just moved to the Olathe area from Overland Park. I think she could help you and I can't imagine anyone not thinking she is the best! Dr. Randy Sheridan!!!!!!!! he is fabulous! He delivered my brother 21 year ago and he delivered my almost 4 year old and almost 1 year old. he is the best doctor i have ever met! i love him! he's located at johnson county OB/GYN, 7440 Frontage Rd, which is just a little north of 75th st and frontage road. his number is ###-###-####!

Try Dr. Murphy. He cared for me in my first pregnancy and delivered my now 13 yr old daughter. He was fabulous. I had a very dificult delivery and he was just wonderful. He is a kind, soft spoken, caring family man who treats his patients with a world of respect and dignity. I really recommend him.

I work for a hospital system and the people that I work with referred me to Dr. John Murphy. He's beside Perceptive Software at K7 and Shawnee Mission Parkway. I love him. He's fabulous! I have two friends at work who have had two babies with him and they both love him. He's at Women's Health Specialists. It used to be called Murphy & Watts (because Dr. Watts is one of the other doctors in the practice). Good luck!

Dr. Brenda Lofton!!! She is wonderful! My husband came to all of my visits w/ me when I was pregnant w/ our 1st and she would take the time to remember things both him and I told her on previous visits and would actually spend the time and sit and chit chat w/ us. We never felt rushed. She is w/ Johnson county womens clinic, and delivers at both shawnee mission and menorah and has offices at both locations. I had to switch Dr.'s :( (due to new health insurance(Love my new Doc too!) or I would still be going to her w/ this pregnancy too.
I see a lot of people have recommended Dr. Murphy. His partner, Dr. Watts, delivered my youngest son. He is fantastic. I heard they recently added a woman to the practice if you prefer.
