I am not sure what religion you are but Ferris Avenue Baptist Church in Waxahachie is wonderful. First Baptist Waxahachie is okay they have alot of kids activities. We really didnt like the adult depts. We have recently moved our membership to First Baptist Midlothian and it is the best church I have ever been too.

We live in Waxahachie, but we attend Midlothian Bible Church. We really like it for a variety of reasons...it is casual, but still worshipful (if that's a word)...there are a lot of families with young children...the preaching is great...everybody is very "real." The only downside is that it is in Midlothian, and we live in Waxahachie, but it is only about a 10 minute drive for us, and we tried some churches in Waxahachie when we first moved here, but none of them seemed to fit the kind of worship, preaching, and atmosphere we were wanting.

If you have any questions specifically about it, feel free to send me them. The services are at 8:30 and 10:15.

welcome to the community. We have lived in Waxahachie for a little over 4 years. Before this we lived in DeSoto for 4 years which is about 30 minutes north and before that in Oak Cliff for all my life which is abot 30 minutes north of DeSoto. So I guess we kept moving South. I have been apart of my church all my life. We have a church in Oak Cliff and now for a few years another church in Red Oak, on the border of Waxahachie. It is called The Oaks Fellowship. It is off of I-35 at the 77 exit. It is a great church. It has something for every age. A great nursery. Lots of kids programs, and a great youth programs along with lots of things for adults. Our Senior pastor is great. He works beside his dad as co-pastors taking care of both churches. It's a bigger church, but you make connections that make you feel close like a small church. At least check it out and see if it's right for your family.
