I am delivering at Southfield Providence; not in the ABC since I am a VBAC. I do need a pediatrician that will visit my son in the hospital. My ped works out of Royal Oak Beaumont. I got a list from my midwife but would like some Moms to recommend who they used.

I delivered at Southfield Providence in February 2008 and my son's pediatrician is Susan Laurent. Her office is in Novi but she does do visits to Providence. I really like her! Hope this helps.
I used Southfield Pediatrics. Their office # is ###-###-####. They only did the in hospital visit and now my kids go to St John Pediatrics, they are the best!
I love Dr. Schindler out of Novi (schindlermd.com) and Dr. Lax out of Clawson is good too. Have you asked your pediatrician if there's anyone he/she would recommend?

I would suggest you check with the hospital. I delivered out of state with my children where our pediatrician wasn't a member. They had the pediatrician oncall visit my children while they were in the hospital and then they gave me copies of all of the records to take to our "regular" pediatrician on the first visit.
Things worked out really well this way without any hiccups. My daughter was even sent to NICU without any difficulties.
