Seeking Moms in Kent Area

Hi Betsy,
I remember the days when my kids were the age of yours and what a blessing it was to connect with other moms walking the same journey. I lived in CA at the time and joined a local mom's club. Two of my best friends are women who I met when our oldest children were just shy of one. They now are 13 and we've navigated through the varios stages right alongside each other . . . even after I moved to WA!! My suggestion for you would be to go to www.meetup.com and search for a playgroup in your area. I have a neighbor who just started one for the Auburn/Federal Way area and I believe there are about 20 people now involved. You can usually find several groups that each have different philosophies or focuses, but I'd imagine you'd find one that's right for you and your kids.

I'm not in Kent, but check meetup.com for a local group. There are a bunch in the area and I know there's one in Renton that overlaps into Kent. You could also start your own group if you wanted to. They have a free trial period. Good luck!
