Seeking Mom's Group Northwest of Spaghetti Bowl

I joined a playgroup about 4 months ago and it's awesome! I found it through the Mommy & Me website. Go to the site (www.mommyandme.com) and it will direct you to a group near your area (you put in your zip code). It will then give the group's director's e-mail address. E-mail the director, let her know a little about yourself and she'll let you know where the group will meet next. We meet 2 times a week at various locations for the kids to play and the Moms can talk.
I am much like you, I am staying home for the first time ever and it's nice to get out of the house once in a while. I've made some really good friends with this group.

I am not positive about groups in the nw, but look on Meetup.com. I belong to a couple meetup groups in the south that are wonderful. I've made some great friends, and always have a playdate to go to when I feel lonely, which is only in the summer, since I am a teacher heading back to work soon =(

I just logged onto this and your message caught my eye! Okay - it was sent to my email address - but your situation is similar to my own! :) I am an English/LA teacher with a 4 month old born in March (boy) and an almost (12 days away) two year old girl. I finally found work here in Las Vegas and my husband will be staying home with the kids. However - I am up for chatting and coffees :) Are you from around here? This is my first time in Vegas ever and we are from Portland, OR (Hillsboro to be specific). Take care and know that there are many more of us out here like yourself looking to connect even though our little ones are the center of our world - they can't really hold a conversation yet. :) A.
