We recently moved here and are looking for a Methodist church in Naperville or Aurora. If you go to one or know someone who does please let me know. I would prefer one that has an active kids program. Thanks!

Check out Community United Methodist at 20 Center Street in Downtown Naperville. I went there when I first moved to Chicago and the first time I was there (and everytime after) I felt this wonderful welcoming spirit.

Hi,
I'm also trying to find a Methodist Church I like in the area. I've tried a number of them and the one I liked the most was Community UMC in downtown Naperville. My friends children are very active in all of the youth groups.
Good Luck

Just putting this out there...Community Christian Church in Naperville is AWESOME! and has the best programs for toddlers/kids/teens & adults! The music rocks and the pastors are amazing as well. I just moved back to the suburbs from the city and the first thing I did was come back to this church. Very friendly, yet laid back no pressure type of place! The kids actually love going to church, which is something Im not used to coming from a Catholic background. It's worth a try if youre new to the area, but I totally understand if you are loyal to the Methodist religion. I believe my parents started out at the Methodist church in downtown Naperville, but now they are life long CCC members!

We love our church, Flowing Grace in North Aurora, a satellite church of the Batavia United Methodist Church. It is a child/family-friendly environment with lots of kids. Check it out at http://www.flowing-grace.com/index.html.

We have a few friends that go to Wheatland Salem United Methodist church in south Naperville. It is located at 95th St. and Book Rd. I believe they have a large children's program. My daughter has attended many children's programs with her friends at that church. They have a popular preschool as part of the church also. They have many summer camps too - my daughter has been to all of those and really enjoyed them.
