Hello C.,
My family lives in the Goodyear Heights Akron area but we are sending our son to Northminster Preschool in Cuyahoga Falls. Their number is ###-###-####. He too will be 4yrs. old. There is also Holy Family Preschool in Stow and The First Christian Church Preschool on Portage Trail in Cuyahoga Falls. I have also heard of Miss Gina's in Cuyahoga Falls. These are some of the places that we looked and they were all very nice.
I am sorry I do not have more names for places in Akron. Grandma takes care of my boys during the day so she will be taking my little one to Preschool so it had to be close to her.
I hope this helps.
Sincerely,
M.

I am from Stow (just north of Akron) and my son attended New Hope Learning Center on Darrow Rd. It is a wonderful facility and Judy Hart (Director) is fantastic! With New Hope, you can choose how many days and which ones you would like for your child to attend. They can go all day, or just in the AM or just in the PM. There are two classes a PK1 and a PK2 depending on where your son is developmentally. I spent alot of time researching preschools last year and I found New Hope to be the best option for us. ###-###-#### is their phone number.
