We are moving to Wildomar in March and have been disheartened with my school search for my daughter. She is in a great Montessori school now and should be ready to begin Kindergarten this fall. I need a good enviornment with extended hours to accomodate my work and commute. Please help!

So What Happened?

My family went to Anne Sullivan for a tour this past Friday and we liked it... my daughter asked if she could start school right then! Thanks to you all for giving me the heads up that they fill up fast, we got on the wait list for Kindergarten right then. My problem is they don't have any spots until the end of June, so I am still trying to decide what to do for Pre-K. We checked out the Goddard school in Murrieta, it seemed pretty good. I am going to post a follow on question about the public school in general, too.

thanks again so much for your help!

Check out Anne Sullivan Nursery School - they have extended care Kindergarten... and they are GREAT! If you're looking for a child centered environment where they understand not only the cognitive development of your child but mroe importantly the social and emotional development then this is your place! They are located on Mission Trail Rd, and they have a web site (can't remember the exact web address). But you'd better call and get a tour quick, cause they fill up fast (preschool anyway, I don't know about the waiting list for kindergarten). They are on the high end as far as cost goes, but if you can afford it then there's no price that isn't worth paying for your child, right? I had my son there until my husband lost his job, and even then they worked with me to lower the cost, offered me a job there (don't worry, I was more than qualified, they wouldn't just employ anyone)... anything to help out. The best word I can use to decribe their environment is PEACEFUL - and I think coming from a Montessori school, that's probably a priority to you! So check it out! :) Good luck!

I highly recommend Anne Sullivan Nursery and Kindergarten. They are not Montessori, but provide a very loving environment in a nice setting.

Look at Anne Sullivan Nursery School, on Palomar in Wildomar. They are wonderful. They're not cheap, but they were only a bit pricier than a far inferior preschool we previously had my daughter in. However they usually have a waiting list (it took us 18 months to move up the list) so contact them soon. Also, Murrieta Ranch was also a good one, tho my kids never went there. It's in Murrieta, not Wildomar, but if you can't get into Anne Sullivan you might want to check it out. Good luck.

C.,

If you love your Montessori school, you will love Anne Sullivan in Wildomar. I'm saying this based on many other parents opinions, plus my own. Anne Sullivan has two preschool rooms and one kindergarten which includes pre k. My daughter is 6 and went through both preschool rooms and is currently in kindergarten. My son is in the Sunshine room - the first preschool room. They start them at 3. Here is their website: http://www.annesullivanschool.com/

If you are interested, make sure you get on the waiting list ASAP!! There is always a long wait, but don't be discouraged by what they tell you - get on the list anyway. When I first signed up my daughter they said 1 year! I was called 3mos later with a spot. *** I just re-read your post, they are currently taking students for kindergarten for next fall, they just had their orientation this past Sat. so, I'm sure you won't have a problem getting in.

If you have any other questions, don't hesistate to email me directly. We moved here 3 years ago from North County San Diego.

Best wishes,
M.
