I am new to FL and am searching for full time employment. I have been offered positions, but am unable to accept because I am still in need of childcare. Does anyone know of an agency or group that can take and pick up children from school and watch them until I get off of work?

What can I do next?

Look at the Dept. of Children and families website. They can provide a list of registered child care providers in your zip code and it lists what services they provide, i.e. hours of operation, number of kids, and if they do drop off/pick up. Also, check with the school. My Sons are in elementary school and they have early drop off at 7am and aftercare as late as 6pm at a very reasonable rate.

You may be able to find a Sitter also? High School Student, responsible, or college student.

Carol Ann is right on. Check with your elementary school as well. It is at a very reasonable rate.
