Hello,
I was wondering if any Mom could tell me where I could fine a really good Pediatrician for my Son. I just moved to Charlotte, NC and I'm needing to find a clinic really soon. My Son is 14 months old and he has Eczema. Thank you so much for your help.

Charlotte is a big town, you can spend two hours driving from one area to another. What specific area are you looking in for your ped and are you looking for a ped derm as well?
We take our twins to Dr Laura Pridemore at Elizabeth Pediatrics. She is an absolute dream. I am an RN and very picky about MDs. We changed our insurance so that we would be able to go the Eliz. Peds. Some of the positives for us are:
1.An actual person answers the phone. We do have to leave a message for info. on the nurse's line but I have always been called back within 1 hr. 2. If my children have to get a "sick visit" they will actually see their primary MD unless they are not working that day. So the consistency is great.
We see Dr. Mark Reynolds at Ballantyne Pediatrics. He is young (30's) so my mother calls him Doogie Howser but my husband and I don't mind. We are the same age so I feel comfortable talking to him and he is never condescending like some doctors. Good luck!
I take my children to Concord Children's Clinic to Dr. Prakash and Dr. Richardson. They are the best pediatricians ever! I was referred to them by a friend who's son had leukemia. Dr. Prakash caught it early on and the child is doing well now. They are located in Concord, and I live in Charlotte, but I would continue to go to them even if I moved an hour away. They are wonderful!!!
