Seeking a New Bank in Joliet with Minimal Fees!

I am pretty fed up with my current bank, TCF, and I'm looking for recommendations for a new bank with branches in Joliet. We used to shop at Jewel and that, plus the longer hours, made TCF convenient. However, we don't shop there anymore (and don't need the extended hours since I'm home now) and with a baby, it makes getting in and out rather frustrating since there are no drive-up windows. Often, I just have to make a deposit and would like to just drop it off without having to lug the baby inside and wait in line, especially in the winter! Also, TCF is notorious for having tons of fees, and even though we have free checking and savings accounts, I feel like every time I turn around, they're slapping me with another ridiculous fee. I'm looking for a bank that has free checking and savings accounts, has online banking, minimal fees, perhaps online bill pay, and has a branch with a drive-up window in Joliet. Does anyone have any suggestions/recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I like banking with Chase Bank. I have banked there for about 9 years so back when it was Bank of chicago I think and I have never had a problem. Good Luck.

I have had good luck with Chase bank. They have a new debit visa that gives you points for your spending to redeem for things at a later date-check out their site-chase.com for more information. Good luck in your search and congrats on the man who changes middle-of-the-night diapers-good catch.

I used to work at TCF so I know what you mean. I like banking with Charter One, especially since they have FREE online banking. I do most of my banking online so that was a plus. And they offer a no fee checking account with free checks and lots of brances too, with drive-up windows.

I bank with Chase and they have some fantastic programs. There debit rewards program has already earned 100 dollars in rewards and I have only had the card for 6 months. I have banked with several different banks and have found Chase to be the best (I am a little bias since I do work for them) but as a customer stand point, I would definetly give them a try
