Searching Pediatrician and OB GYN Close to Wicker Park

I absolutely love the midwife practice at Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group and the MDs there are also all super. You would never be more than thrilled no matter who you see. They are at 680 N. Lake Shore Drive so not too far from Wicker Park (I live in Ukranian Village). I also see the best peditrician practice in the same building - Northwestern childrens Practice - Dr. Sharma and Goldstein are awesome and everyone else we've seen there. They have walk in sick appts every day of the week including Sat and Sun and really care about your kids more than I could have ever expected!

I second the recommendation of Town and Country Pediatrics. I took both my kids there when I lived in the city, and loved the practice. They are conveniently located to where you are, have a lot of good doctors, and provide an easy in and out for appointments (free parking!). The best doctor there IMO is Jenny Hong, but I also liked Diane Holmes and Barbara Johnston. Howard Rice and Dori Kazdin were my least favorites. I never had to wait an inordinate amount of time for appointments, and as a working mom, I really appreciated their evening and weekend hours.

I also really like my OBGYN. Alex Lin at Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group. It's a large practice, so they have a lot of really good doctors there as well, but he was my favorite. Their office is downtown, so not as convenient, but if you're going to have another baby, you don't want to do it anywhere but Northwestern Prentice Hospital and that's where they deliver.

I'm pretty sure both of these groups accept Blue Advantage, but they can tell you when you call.

I delivered at Norwegian and my OB GYN were the Women's Health Assoc., they have offices in the hospital and on Chicago Ave between Damen and Ashland. They are 4 women doctors who you see based on the day you go in, but I think all 4 are fabulous and very welcoming, especially Dr. Starr and Dr. Tart. There number is ###-###-####. Our pediatrician is also from Norwegian, Dr. Villafuerte, supe sweet. Only problem, she is only available Mon, Wed, and Fridays from 9:30-6pm, but it is walk-in only, no appointments. Hi A. - Town & Country pediatrics is not far from Wicker Park. I don't go there as I live in Evanston, but have several friends who do and they love the doctors there. My OB/GYN is near Northwestern Hospital (680 N. Lakeshore Drive) - not sure if that's convenient for you, but it's Dr. Kim McMahon with OB/GYN Specialists of Northwestern and she's fantastic. Other doctors in the practice that are also great are Goldman and Salasche.

Im a new mom of a baby girl of 3.50 months and to had a hardtime finding a good pediatrician in chicago. I finally found an awesome one, she was referred by a good friend of mine. The way she handled Nadia was so amazing.My husband and I had been looking for pediatrician that actually cares about our baby and our concerns.
