Relocating to Nashville - Need Peditrician Recommendations

I am moving to the Bellevue area of Nashville in mid October and will be in need of a good Pediatrician. I have a 3 year old daughter and my son will be 10 months when we move. I am looking for a group with at least a couple of doctors. Friendly staff. Supports breastfeeding. Male and female doctors. My current group has a nurse that is dedicated to answering phone calls with "triage" questions - this would be something I would love to have in our new group as well. And preferably someone that knows how to keep your appointment time (nothing irks me more than waiting 30-40 minutes past my appointment time to even get into a room).

Also, any suggestions on Pediatric dentists or a family dentist that sees all ages would be appreciated. I have been planning to take my daughter since she turned 3 a couple months ago, but knew we would be moving and decided to wait and just get established with a dentist in Nashville.

What can I do next?

We love Old Harding Pediatric Associates. They have a Bellevue office and one close, off of Post which is the one we use. They have male and female doctors, so you might just want to go talk to some of the doctors. Email me when you get in town.... I have a 3 yr. old daughter and a 13 mo. old daughter....we could get together!
Best wishes with your move.

We relocated to Nashville 2 1/2 years ago. We had trouble finding the right doctor, until a co-worker recommended Old Harding Pediatrics, which was quite a blessing, as our son was sick the first year we were here. They have 3 offices, one right in Bellevue next to Bellevue mall, another office, Old Harding Road, is only about 5-8 miles down the same road and then they have a 3rd office I believe in Ashland City. We never have any trouble getting appointments, they have evening clinic til around 8:30 every night, they have Saturday hours at Old Harding office and they have Sunday clinic, so they are available 7 dyas a week. You can request appointments via their website if you realize after hours that you need a sick appointment; usually if we need to make a sick appointment, I go online and request one for the next day, if I do it buy 10:00 p.m., I usually get a response via email by 11:00. Dr. Heil is our primary pediatrician, but I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Betts, he is absolutely top notch. You can chedck them out via their website at OHPA.com. Welcome to Nashville.

I do not live in Bellevue but would still recommend my ped group - sounds exactly like what you want. It is Brentwood Children's Clinic. They are located off 65 near Cool Springs Mall. They are awesome!

A couple of recommendations for you:
Pediatrician:
Maryland Farms Pediatrics
5056 Thoroughbred Lane, Brentwood P: ###-###-####
There are three women Peds (Freeman, Hain, Bondurant), each with their own style (so you can find the one that you most connect with) - our favorite is Dr. Hain. There is always 2 in the office and there are some hours on Saturday mornings.
They are very supportive to breastfeeding and they recently have invited two very experienced lactation consultants to open their business at the office: "Nine Months and Beyond".
Only one time I did have to wait a little longer than I thought I should, but it was not more than 30 minutes - my cut off is 20 minutes - I have a 2 year old daughter and a 3 month old son.
Pediatric Dentist:
Dr. Timothy McNutt
3817 Bedford Ave, Ste 120, Nashville - up in behind Green Hills Mall area P: ###-###-####
I really liked him and his set up is super kid friendly. We have only been one time, but I was impressed how comfortable he made my daughter, when I have a struggle to get her mouth open!
Welcome to Nashville - we've been here about a year - moved from Canada to warm ourselves up a little - so far we are loving it!
