I am looking for a pediatrician for my 3yo son. We have been seeing family practice which has been great; but he has recently had some health issues that require a pediatrician's following.

Pediatric Associates has a great reputation in the area. Dr. Josephine Young is the physician we see there and we have been very happy. I have friends who use other doctors in the practice and all seem pleased. One great part about their practice is that you can schedule emergency weekend visits if you have a sick child and I was told that there are doctors available 365 days per year for this sort of thing.
Seems pediatric associates is the way to go. We go to Woodinville Pediatrics. We see Dr. Neil Kaneshiro, but all the doctors there are awesome. They are very personable. Their number is ###-###-####. They are open until 6 and have clinic hours Saturday morning.
When I leave the office I head towards Redmond then turn right on the road that takes you to Totem Lake Mall.

We love Pediatrics Associates--there is an office in Bellevue and Kirkland so it depends on your preference. We see Dr. Benda in Factoria and love her--I have three boys 6, 4 1/2, and 22 mo. She really attends to my concerns without ordering unneeded tests or medications. If we need an appointment for a sick kid and she is not working, rarely have I not like the doctor we've seen. Hi, we have been going to Pediatrics Associates in Bellevue and Issaquah for both our children, 14 and 7 respectively. I have always been impressed with either of my children's doctors, Dr. Roskin (male) and Dr. Tracy (female). They are in the book under Pediatrics Associates. Just in case, the phone # in Issaquah is ###-###-####. I like having a male doctor for my son and a female for my daughter. Good luck.
Why don't you try and get referred to Childrens? They is a Bellevue campus. They might have the clinic you would need. Or try the main campus in Laurelhurst by UW.
I don't know if Group Health would work for you, but we loved working with Dr. John Dunn at the Northshore clinic in Bothell. He is young and smart and very up to date.

I'd call Pediatric Associates in Bellevue, right off the 520 off of Northrup Way. They are wonderful. We have a specific doctor, Dr. Donald Shifrin, but even if he's not available, we can always get in with one of the other ten or 15 dr.s that work there. =0)They are great! They even have a 24hr nurse line! Hope that helps!

We've been seeing our pediatrician since our oldest daughter was born and have been very happy with her. She's very personable, listens well and interacts with the kids. She has a child who is three, so she relates well to the toddler stage if that is where you are. Her name is Cassandra Beaulieau and she's with the Bellevue branch of Pediatric Associates on Northrup Way (kind of under 520). It's a very big practice with on call nurses 24 hours per day (which we've used in the middle of the night) and doctors available on weekends. I am really happy with the Pediatric Associates practice. They have offices throughout the eastside: Bellevue, Factoria, Pine Lake, Redmond, Sammamish, Totem Lake, and Redmond Ridge. You can read about them at mypediatricassociates.com.
For normal visits I use Dr. Benda at the Factoria office. I have seen a few other docs in that office that have all been great. I have also been to the main Bellevue location.
My understanding is that all the doctors work together. They will always get your son in for an appointment, and you can switch doctors at anytime if you are not happy with your chosen physician.

I know this is getting repititious, but we also go to Pediatric Associates in Totem Lake and see Dr. Parish. We LOVE her and can't say enough good things about her. She talkes to the child, even our little baby, but is giving information to mom and dad at the same time. She is the BEST!
