My husband and I are looking for a female pediatrician who accepts Health Net HMO insurance in Manhattan Beach or the surrounding areas. We live in Culver City and will be delivering at Torrance Memorial, but we'd like a pediatrician who's office is closer to our home. If you don't know if they accept Health Net, I will call and find out. Also, although we would prefer a female, if you have a male pediatrician who you HIGHLY recommend, we might be open to reconsidering. Please let me know if you have any recommendations. My son goes to Dr. Daisy Vinzon at the UCLA Group on Marine and Sepulveda. We really like her and all the staff there. I actually visited Dr. Demontevrde and I wasn't crazy about her. Just my thoughts.

We use UCLA in MB arcoss from mall on PCH and there are 2 female dr. there and they are great! Just love these drs!
Hi - I can highly recommend Dr. Curtis and Dr. Keerwan (sp?) on Sepulveda in Manhattan Beach. Dr. Curtis is very experienced and Dr. Keerwan is much younger, but excellent. They are at 400 S Sepulveda Blvd Ste 210 and their phone number is ###-###-####.
My only beef is that the waiting area is small and they don't have separate waiting area for infants vs. older children or sick patients versus check-up patients. But, the care is good so we tolerate it.
