Just wondering...

Which ladies on this site are currently pregnant?

How far along are you?

How old are you?

How many children do you have or will this be your first?

Any interesting or funny pregnancy stories, advise, or other thing that you'd like to share?

Just thought it would be fun to hear from all the pregnant ladies...

AS FOR ME, I am 15 weeks, 38 years old, I have one son who will be six when the baby comes, who is beside himself with excitement about the arrival of his new 'baby brother' even though he knows we don't know the sex yet... or maybe he 'knows' something we don't? Hmmmm...

SO NOT PREGNANT :)

BUT... I'm 27 and have 3 babies... wanted 1 more, until this last one... I love my son, but he's a holy terror ;)

But like I already told you, I just had a dream the other night that I was pregnant. I woke up VERY disoriented ;)

OH and kids totally have a 6th sense about baby gender!! Both my girls thought it was going to be a boy... to test this (yeah, I know, 50% chance either way), I went to my daughters preK class and had all the kids rub my belly, then put a blue or pink paper in a basket... there was only ONE pink in there! Kids know ;)

Hope that morning sickness didn't hit you. lol I had bad cases of it with both my boys.

I hope I don't get in trouble with this, but I am 26, I am currently NOT pregnant, and I don't have any kids yet. I found this site and fell in love with it awhile back when I WAS pregnant with our first, but we lost our baby at 12 weeks :(. This site has actually helped me cope a little bit and I've gotten lots of ideas/information on being pregnant and having kids. We have to wait for awhile before we try again, but we are actively planning and will hopefully be pregnant at this time next year!!

I am 39 (40 next month) and I am 6 months pregnant with my 11th child. I have six boys and four girls, new baby makes seven boys. They range in age from 20 years to 21 months. And just in case any one is wondering, I gave birth to all 10 of them, and they are all from my wonderful husband. You'd be surprised at how many people ask if they all have the same father:)

Hi L.!

I'm 32 and we're about 6 weeks along. This will be our second child, but we will not be telling our son that we are expecting for quite a while. We're in the "why" and "when" phase (he's 3) so it will be a LONG 250 days!

Funny things... we aren't telling anyone yet, but we've gone to three events in the last week. When I ask for water or juice, I get the "look" so I don't think it's much of a secret anymore!

Hi L.
Great post thank you.
I am 30 weeks along, 37 yrs old and due 24th October.
I have a son who just turned 4 yrs.
We are having a girl.
We are so excited to be pregnant. This one took longer than expected to conceive but now I can see clearly why she is coming at this perfectly right time-the clever miss !!lol.
Let me explain. We get 2weeks before due date and 6mths paid maternity leave here in Ireland and my doctor is going to sign me off a month early with full sick pay (my pelvis is out) so that is 6 weeks before baby due which bring us to early September.I still have some holiday hours to take so basically I have only 3 weeks left to work TG.
The thing is my son starts school in Sept.so that means I will be at home for most of his first year. This is such a great thing for me as all ye working Mums out there will understand.
Ps maybe your son does know as ours was calling this one "his little sister for a few months even before I conceived!! MAD.
Hope you are having a great pregnancy
B. k

I'm NOT pregnant, but I WISH I was about 28 weeks pregnant....that was the best. I loved feeling my daughter kick me and punch me in the ribs. :) My daughter is 16 months now. I just turned 30 last month, and I hope to be pregnant again sometime this year. I was the HAPPIEST person alive when I was pregnant. I never felt more confident and beautiful than when I was pregnant. I'm one of those pregnant ladies who would be pregnant all-year-long if I could.
An interesting pregnancy story?? I BIG TIME failed my glucose test. Because.... the day of the test I ate: cake for breakfast (along with some grapes because I wanted to "balance" out the bad, a cupcake and more fruit on my break from work, more cake in my classroom (it was my student's birthday--how could I resist?!), a normal lunch, and an apple about 30 minutes before the test. When the test results came back....my doctor nearly fell over. She said, "According to these results, you are 300 lbs and very unhealthy" (neither of which were true). I told her what I ate that day, and she laughed at me. I had to do the 3-hr glucose test where you have to STARVE for 12 hours (worst thing ever!), but I passed with flying colors. My advice: never EVER eat sugary food before your glucose test...duh! But the fun part was: I lost 4 pounds in one week by eating almost NO carbs.... It was the worst week of my life, but I seriously thought I had diabetes, and I was going to do anything to make sure my baby girl was healthy.

I am NOT currently pregnant, my baby just turned one on wed. : ( It is a bitter sweet milestone. She is my 4th, and last. I think that is why it is so hard to take. But you never know, my husband always jokes that he can just look at me and I get pregnant. I would love to have more (call me crazy) but I seriously don't know where I would put them if I had more, we are cramped as it is! Anyways, I am going to be 34 next month, and that is my story.

HI!

Thanks for asking! Yes im pregnant, it was a total surprise i was using precautions scheduled to get an iud and everything! Come to find out im actually over 12 weeks(3 months) along. lol.(i have irregular periods so i didnt know)

I Just turned 30 ...6 days ago. I have an 8 year old girl and a 2 1/2 year old girl. (my oldest thinks im having a girl my youngest says boy)

I do have a great story to share, my last ultrasound (when i discovered i was 2 months further along than anticipated) was about 2 weeks ago. I was laying there with the tech staring at my little gummy bear on the screen and my phone rings. My ringtone is of my 2 year old singing the abcs...rather loudly and hilariously. Well my baby just started going haywire!, she/he was ALL over the place. It was great!

Hi L.,
I am 28 years old and I am currently pregnant with baby number 2 - 12 weeks along. I have a 20 month old daughter and she will be just over 2 when this baby is born. She is still quite young to understand what it means for Mama to be pregnant but when we ask her whats in my belly she always says baby and sometimes she will actually come up to me when I am sitting and lift my shirt and talk to the baby through my bell button. Melts my heart everytime. We dont know the gender yet because its too early but we do plan to find out. I had 110% feeling that my first was a girl and even if the ultrasound tech tried to tell me that she was a boy I would have told her she was wrong. This time I want to say I think its a boy but its really not that strong of a feeling at all. I guess we will just wait and see but as long as its healthy Im happy =)
Congrats on your baby

I'm 24 years old. I'm 36 weeks pregnant with my 3rd, my husband's 4th, and they're all girls...including the new one. My poor husband. I love certain aspects of pregnancy, however at this point I am just ready to hold my little baby, and to actually be able to sit down on the couch and be comfortable again. I have to say it's a lot of fun to let the girls sit and stare at/feel my belly while their baby sister puts on a little show for them. Good luck on your pregnancy.

I'm 31 & am 35 weeks pregnant with my second daughter! My first will be 7 in November and is so excited about becoming a big sister! My hubby and I can only laugh about this pregnancy and child because we are convinced this child will be a complete opposite of our first! From the first ultrasound she has been very stubborn! She won't lay the right way to check everything, she likes to wake up at midnight and kick the hell out of me, keeping me awake each night! Our first has been the easiest kid in the world to raise! She was never sick growing up, never cried, she does what she is told, doesn't throw tantrums...we've been very lucky and just know this one will be the opposite! But, on the plus side, I've only gained 6 pounds with this pregnancy!
