Pregnancy Stretch Marks

Hi,

I was wondering if there are any stretch mark prevention creams that anybody would recommend. I am in my 16th week and am thinking of starting to apply something as I see my belly grow little by little! Any suggestions of both successful products (home remedies) that worked and those to avoid would be appreciated!

Thanks much,
D.

Oh, I hate to say this, but if your mom got them, for the most part so will you. My mom had them and I was in my 9th month and I was thinking I was home free. But no, I got them and got them bad, in the last 4 weeks. Ugh.. Just do a lot of moisturizing to help with the stretching and dryness.

Hopefully, your mom didnt get them?

Good luck!

Hi, Pure Coco Butter, it's not expensive and you can get it at CVS. Good Luck.

Ariana S,said it best, you can not prevent them...but you can definatly apply lotion every day(the stimulation gets the blood flowing in your skin)all the coco butter in the world wont keep them away!!Hopefully you wont get them,i have just a few white ones(you can hardly see them)but like Ariana said you either get em or you dont!!Good Luck!!!Drink a TON of water!!!

unfortunately, stretchmarks are genetic. you either get them or you don't, and no magical cream is going to make a difference. the best you can do is moisturize, stay hydrated and eat well.
