my hubby and I have been trying for baby # 2. My last period was January 25th, so I am due to start tomorrow. I usually get symptoms a week before, but haven't had any. I tracked my ovulation the last couple of months and this month and of the days I was ovulating, we never left the room. So my question is, how long do I wait before taking a test? Say I got prego this month while ovulating, would i have to wait till next month to know?I feel so silly asking, so I am coming to you for advice. Thanks in advance.

typically 2 weeks after ovulation. The earliest I ever found out was 16dpo and that was with charting a test still wouldn't pick it up.

I would take a test tomorrow, but that's me. They say 4 days before your missed period, and unless money is really tight, I'd try.

I got a positive pregnancy test at 3 weeks from the time we had sex. I also bought a $1 pregnancy test form the dollar store. I am now 11 weeks:) so i would go ahead and take one!

I have always had a positive reading the day my period was due. I have had negative two days prior. So I agree with a previous poster if you can afford several tests go for it. If you get negative results but no mestruation then try again in a few days. I can only imagine how anxious you might be. I know I was. Good luck.

With both pregnancies I had a positive test 4 days prior to starting my period. Each person's body is different. The home tests say they're most accurate when taken one day after a missed period. So, if you take it in a day you will get the most accurate result.

Take the test in a week if you miss your period or if it starts for a day or two and stops. Whenever that happens to me, I'm pregnant lol

About 2 weeks after you ovulated...about a week after your start date is here and gone. GL :)

If your suppose to start today take it! If its negative wait a few more days and take another one. My last period started January 21, I tested February 13,14 and 15th and were all negative but tested again on the 18th (day i was suppose to start) and it was positive! Good luck!
