Does anyone know where the best parks/playgrounds are anywhere in the VA Beach area for toddlers?? We have gone to Mt. Trashmore a few times, but its just to big and crowded. I have 3 year old twins and often go alone with them, so I need a nice park that is small but fun for them. I am even willing to spread out towards Chesapeake. Thanks for any input. Just looking for stuff to get them out of the house since the weather is starting to warm up a little bit.

Thanks!!

What can I do next?

There's a nice park in the Arrowhead neighborhood in Kempsville. They just got brand new playground equipment. If you are on Princess Anne Rd. between Witchduck & Newtown (coming from Witchduck) you'd turn left onto Parliament (I believe it's Parliament). There's a Crown gas station, a Rite Aid, and a Wachovia on the corners. Make that left and the park is straight ahead. It's a small park which I've never seen to be crowded. Very nice.

There is a nice, clean, small park in the bellamy area of Kempsville great for smaller kids. I don't know the exact address, but if you contact me, I can get the information for you if you would like.

I second City View Park. We go out there as well.

City View Park on Kempsville is nice. That is where I take my kids. There are 2 play grounds, a big field, a walking track, and even some mini hiking tails. That being said, it is not usually overly crowded.
