So my darling 2yo found a sharpee marker and now it is all over the dash of my car. It would not be such a big deal but, I am trying to sell the car and don't think the next owners will appreciate her artwork as much as I do. I have tried Mr clean magic eraser, a pencil eraser, OFF, oxyclean, simply green, alcohol, hairspray and just now nail polish remover. Is there anything that will take this off?
I have used the pure nail polish remover and/or alcohol, however, I don't know how they would react on the dash which get a lot of sun and heat exposure.
Maybe try a clorox wipe. They don't have the concentration of the pure clorox.

I have to agree - Sol U Mel works wonders!! And to give it an extra boost, you can also try prespot and/or their anti-bacterial soap!

If you use anything on the dash to remove marker, you can remove the dye off the dashboard also. Call F. T.. They restore dye on dashboards. Call them at ###-###-####. Check out their webite at www.F..com/T. or www.WeRepairLeather.com
I agree - try acetone nail polish remover. But dab a bit in a hidden place to make sure it doesn't do something nasty to your dashboard first.

Find someone who is a Melaleuca rep and order some Sol-U-Mel. The stuff takes anything off. Last week my daughter found red permanent marker and colored both of her arms the night before Mother's Day. Since S.U.M. is all natural and safe for skin, it was perfect. It came off no problem! You can use the stuff to clean stains anywhere, plus it has a million other uses.
Seriously, Sol-U-Mel is awesome. I don't order Melaleuca anymore because of the minimum amount of products that I was required to buy each month, but I am going to get some soon from my cousin because it really is great!
