So our house is WAYYY overdue for a paint job ...plus I want some colors in the house. We really cant afford to right now (esp with a baby around the corner, but I've been wanting it for about 6 years so we figured we'll get that out of the way now than wait another 3 yrs) I dont even know how much it'll cost to do the entire house (2400 Sq ft). So I have 2 questions (well I have a gazillion in my head, but i'll spare you :)....)
1) Does anyone know roughly how much it'll cost? - over a $1,000, $2,000?
2) Does anyone know of a good and reasonable painter in or around Garland?

Thanks Mamas!! - I dunno what I'll do without this site :-\

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you all for your referrals... we are back on the fence again on weather to paint this year, or next year...because of another repair that came up....sigh :'(

The person who does all the work on our house, my mothers house as well as my grandmothers house is Len Vinsko. He is very reasonable and does a great job. He recently painted my mom's house and it looks great.

We had our house that we're selling painted - 2040 sq. ft., 4 bedrooms, 2 living, kitchen and laundry room, just didn't paint the bathrooms, because we had recently painted them ourselves. three bedrooms had the ceilings painted, which were also repainted, vaulted ceiling in living room painted, and the garage ceiling had popcorn texture removed then retextured/painted. All of that for about $3,000 - about half what another company had quoted. And the fixed several holes in the wall for us too, and anything they saw along the way that needed fixed. And it looked AWESOME! Can not recommend them enough! Rafael Villalobos ###-###-####. Oh, and he does work all around Dallas - he was referred to us by a friend who has used him several times in Irving, and I know a few people who have used him in Plano/Richardson.
