My youngest has always been a big wetter. Normally, Huggies Overnights work great for us for overnight protection, but now I'm thinking he's waking up early b/c his diaper is so wet. I've tried cloth and disposables with no luck; we're not doing cloth right now b/c life just is too crazy. Any suggestions for a disposable option?

I heard about diaper doublers for disposables, but can't find them anywhere except in a case of like 500. Anyone have luck with these? Oh, and he's a 20 month old. Thanks!

What can I do next?

They are at Babies R us. At my store they are on the bottom shelf and are easily misses.
But with the cloth diapers did you try hemp inserts?? Hemp absorbs 20x more liquid than just regular cotton. I sooooo understand crazy life with cloth. But I would suggest maybe getting hemp/cotton inserts and use them in the disposables. I did that when I didn't have all the wraps I needed to full time cloth diaper. Hope this helps!!!

I always used an extra diaper and folded it in thirds the long way with the plastic side in. Similar to the maxipads mentioned in another post.

Try going up a size on the Huggies, and you can find disposable doublers at Babies R Us. Good luck.

I did this with one of my sons and now it is working for my grandson...try putting a super maxi sanitary pad in the front of his diaper at bedtime. It should absorb enough so that he does not soak through. Just call it a "pee pad"!

I loved the pamper overnights - unfortunatley they only go up to size 4 or 5. The diaper doublers did not work for us at all - but you can typically find them (or something like them) in Babies R Us. We are now doing pampers baby dry with a pampers pull up (next size up so they cover the entire bottom diaper) over the baby dry. It has been the only thing that worked for us. The Huggie's Overnight's just didn't fit right and he always woke up wet.
