OK, so its not mine, but I thought I would share anyway. My whole family and then some were waiting with my sis for things to get rolling for her delivery of her daughter (before we would kindly leave the room and give her some privacy). My sis had someone come in to talk with her about cord blood banking. Her thirteen yr old son was worried that it would hurt his unborn sis or mom and was asking the person a lot of questions.
My sister turns to her son and says "don't worry Justin, its fine. I mean, I know Grandma and Uncle Shaun are STILL USING theirs, but most babies don't need them after their born" (YES, my brother is a momma's boy and mom should've cut the cord about 30 years ago). The look on the nurses face was one of sheer anguish as she tried to stifle a laugh. My dad and I just went ahead and let ours out. My mom and lil brother were upset (to put it nicely) and mom stomped out of the room to cool off.

LMAO... i just have to crack up, as i got there after this happened and only heard about it. All I can say is that I wish I would have been there to actually hear it first hand! I think its hilarious and was quite witty of Jen to come up with so quick! Yay Jenny! :) lol
I needed a really good laugh tonight and that sure did it cause my husband tells me and my 3 year old daughter that we need to cut the umbilical cord again.

Somewhere around hour 10 or so I told my doula I wanted to go home. She said, "You just have to do this and then you'll have your beautiful baby."
I said,
"I don't care, I don't want him."
I just gotta say that is funny! Sounds like something I would have said. I know I threatened to punch my old man if he didn't shut up.
